Driftwood and clay
Modeling photographed then destroyed. For me, the interest of this work is to be able to freeze the expression at a given instant, a need to express an emotion, a state. The light and the angle of view only reveal the full force of the modeling which is at this stage only a support. This work of modeling is not completed, I do not preserve it. Numerical intervention makes it possible to accentuate the play of lights and shadows to reinforce these expressions. Each photograph is then printed in limited copies, on high quality paper and laminated on aluminum (format 60X80).
Mixture of driftwood and clay, marriage of materials where the driftwood used raw, adapts to the clay bust. The whole is then patinated and waxed. Then assembled with dowels and glued.
